The British Coffee Association is proud to work with a variety of independent healthcare professionals who advise us on all areas of coffee, caffeine, and health to ensure we provide credible and balanced advice for consumers and healthcare professionals alike.

DrChristianJessenDr Christian Jessen

Dr Christian graduated in 2000 from University College London, having trained in general medicine, infectious disease, travel medicine and sexual health/HIV. He appears regularly on TV and is involved in a number of public campaigns to help look for new ways to educate people in health matters.





Dr Sarah Jarvis

After training in medicine at Cambridge and Oxford, Dr Sarah Jarvis has been a GP partner in the same busy inner city London practice for over 21 years. She has also been a GP trainer for the last 17 years.

Sarah has been the resident doctor for the Jeremy Vine show on BBC Radio 2 for the last 8 years. She has been doctor to the One Show on BBC One for the last 5 years, and also appears on BBC Breakfast, Daybreak on ITV, Sky News and Radio 5 live.




DrSarahSchenkerDr Sarah Schenker

Dr Schenker is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association, The Nutrition Society, The Association for Nutrition and The Guild of Health Writers and has served on both professional and government committees.





Mike Gleeson

Professor Gleeson has been a Professor of Exercise Biochemistry at Loughborough University since 2002. Over the past 30 years he has published over 150 full peer-reviewed papers on exercise physiology, biochemistry and immunology and sports nutrition and. has also co-authored textbooks in exercise biochemistry, sport nutrition and exercise immunology. He is currently Associate Editor of Exercise Immunology Review and is an advisory board member of several journals including the European Journal of Applied Physiology, the Journal of Sports Sciences and Immunometabolism.




NikkiKhanNikki Khan

Nikki has been a practicing Midwife for twenty-five years. She is a Certified Baby Massage Instructor, specialising in massage for babies with Cerebral Palsy and other developmental problems. She is also an author and journalist, regularly writing on pregnancy and baby health. Nikki runs her own pregnancy and postnatal classes in London, and is a practicing Clinical Negligence Lawyer.
